Now that my front door is green, my old standby evergreen Christmas wreath just blends in. I found this great Christmas ornament ball wreath, here, here, here and here.
It was so easy….
All you need is a wire hanger, 80 ornaments, some pliers, hot glue, and ribbon. Just bend the hanger into a nice circle and string the ornaments onto the wire.Eddie Ross says that you need to hot glue the ornaments onto their ends but the ornaments I got from Target ($20) stayed on really well.
I pulled about six of them off so that I could clasp the ends of the hanger together, then I hot glued those back into their tops. Altogether – this took about 20 minutes and my son loved helping !
Happy Holidays!

hooray! you've solved my dilemma. I don't like buying a fresh wreath each year but hate fake greens. So The ball wreath is perfect. Festive, fun, colorful, and not an imitation of something living. Thanks for the other links so I could see several color schemes! YATB...you are the bomb!
I have seen these in the stores, and always wanted to try. Thanks for the tips. Maybe next year!
That is so beautiful! I love it!
