This is a tough before and after shot to get because we actually took two bedrooms and made one master suite. The current master bathroom is located in a former bedroom.
Here is our vanity. The granite is called Super White. You can see the medicine cabinets that you all helped me choose. They are so highly functional for this size bathroom. I am so glad that I did them. It is nice to have a place for medicine, hair and cleaning products that is out of my son's reach. They stick out about 8 inches from the wall and so you can see how I needed these light fixtures with the long arms.
Lots of great simple trim pieces really made this tub surround feel calm and clean. The subway tile is 4 X 8 beveled.
And here is the famous city view tile that was on backorder forever and made me crazy. I have to say that it was worth the wait. It has the look of concrete and all of the advantages of ceramic tile. I am not loving my concrete floor in my laundry room (a story for another post). Plus it hides so much.
There is a shower back there but it was difficult to photograph. We are still waiting for some plumbing parts so I haven't actually used it yet. The tile is the same as the floor only in a 12 X 12 piece.

Bethany! I love your new house! You've done such a great job designing/decorating it! I can't wait to see it!
Hi Bethany,
I'm new to your blog. It's cold this morning in Chicago & I've spent a lot of time reading your old posts while I sip my coffee. I have a question regarding your bathroom. We are re-doing our master bath & it looks like your choices of cabinets & tile is very similar to our choices. But I'm wondering if your cabinet is black or brown/espresso? We went with black. I thought it would look good with the grey veining of our carrera marble counter & floor tile. We are also using white subway in the shower. But if you went with espresso, I'm beginning to wonder if I might the right choice. Your bath is beautiful!
Mary! Thanks for your comment. The color is espresso- my floor is really a warm gray - so I thought that I needed the warmth of the browns in the espresso. I think that black would be a lovely choice with carrera marble - I dont think you will go wrong. That is the hardest part of remodeling...second guessing yourself all the time. Good luck. I would love to see photos.
Bethany
Hi! Was wondering if you could share the name/brand and where you purchased the 4x8 beveled tile!
Thanks!
