I thought that I would post pictures one room at a time as they get finished. We still have some light fixtures, mirrors, tile and a shower door on order. Oh and the kitchen cabinets are being completely redone. But I will save that story for another post. Here is the main bathroom...
Do you recognize that armoire? It is the one I tried to get one of you to purchase, until I realized that I needed it for myself. Doesn't it just look right at home in it's little bathroom nook.
This is honed-antiqued-black-granite. I really love the look and texture of this piece but never considered it because of the price. My granite guy (who rocks!) had a piece in his remnant yard. The rest is history.
The cabinets are painted Dover White (Sherwin Williams). And no they are not the existing cabinets, they are new (inside joke).
The tub surround and walls are bright white subway tile. I really like how this bottom row looks like baseboard. Dal-Tile didn't offer a baseboard piece with this line so we turned the 3X6 tiles horizontally and put a quarter round on top. I am really happy with how this turned out.
The floors are limestone - I love how easy they are to clean and how the color warms up the stark black and white room. This could possibly be my favorite room in the house. But it really has an unfair advantage right now because it also the only complete room in the house.

I love it!! It is an inspiration to me because our bathroom looks almost exactly like your before pic. Except our tile is pink and purple:)
Someday...
Love, love, love it. Although I have to say that the pink bathroom wasn't that bad. I could live in it!!!
OH! I told you, one must keep a part of the original house.... The pink bathroom was it!!! LOL! Look beautiful, can't wait to see it all! I MUST come over.
Oh my gosh, Bethany... the bathroom is gorgeous.
Unbelievable difference. You've made the bathroom classy and timeless. And you're right, that armoire works beautifully in the bathroom.
You have great taste and a clever eye.
