Speaking of going over budget

I just read about a project that will make your head spin. What is the biggest single family residence you have ever heard of? 20,000 square feet ? 50,000 square feet? TRY 400,000 square feet. That is right. Billionaire, Mukesh Ambani's new home is currently under construction in downtown Mumbai, India. You can read more about his 3 helipads, 6 floors for parking, 600 full-time staffers, guest floors, garden floors, health floor, and car maintenance floor, here. Oh ya- it is reported to cost around 1 billion dollars. My new garage door doesn't seem so extravagant anymore.

Now take a look at this low impact home in Wales. The builder says that it took four months, 1000-1500 man hours and 3000 euros to build. Anyway, I think it is totally cute and something I would really enjoy as a cabin. I am also really impressed by a the family's resourcefulness and creativity. However, now my garage door is seeming a little bit more extravagant.

It is so politically correct for me to rip on the billionaire and celebrate the environmentalist so let me tip the scales back a bit. (I hate being politically correct and I am a huge believer in Capitolism) Let's be honest, it takes a whole lot of resourcefulness and creativity to become a billionaire in the first place. So three cheers for the billionaire.

What do you think? Who is more is the more resourceful and/or creative one?

I'd like to be the billionaire. Maybe if I cheer for him, somehow that wealth might return to me in some type of good will boomerang.

Although I really like that hobbit home.
