Vacation

This week I will be posting from sunny San Diego. Last winter we scheduled a vacation thinking that we would be totally moved in by this week. Thank goodness that we did because, even though we are not settled, it has turned out to be perfect timing. We really need a break from things and some down time before we make the final push on the project and officially move in.

Last week we slept at our house for the first time. The cabinets and tile work are still not complete but we had one working bathroom and carpet. We hope that both will be near completion by the time we get home.

While we are here, I hope to squeeze in some shopping. This will be no easy task thanks to my two male companions (ages 3 and 33). I did manage to make it to a furniture store this evening and will post more tomorrow.
