This week we are moving out but not in. Our house is not quite ready yet so we will be spending the next couple of weeks as nomads. Fortunately, we have a family river trip planned which will be a nice diversion from our project. It will also be a great way to get used to camping, wearing dirty clothes, and eating off of paper plates.
Moving is such a humiliating experience for me because all of my stuff gets strewn around and everyone can see all of the things I have accumulated over the years.
Kristen G., who is also moving this week, reminded me of a friend we have in common. After her husband finished dental school, they moved their family of six across the country with a total of SEVEN boxes. Can you imagine? If I remember correctly, her husband drove the mini-van and she flew with the kids. So they must have filled the mini-van and their luggage and that was it. Pretty amazing right?

I don't believe it at all. :)
I hope you had fun on the trip! Do you need help moving in? Does Finn want to play while you unpack boxes? Let me know. For now I'm so excited for you!
